FI Founders

We are Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate (FFI), consecrated to Her by a religious vow, in order that She conform us to Christ in the “most beautiful, pleasant, and certain way” (St. Maximilian M. Kolbe, SK 1299), and deign to use us as Her instruments in Her mission of winning all souls for the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Her universal mission is directed to every man, in every place, by every licit means. Because we have offered ourselves to Her as Her instruments, our apostolate cannot exclude any person, place, or means.

Why Hungarian?

Breviarium Meum offers a parallel translation of the breviary texts in English and Hungarian. Yes, Hungarian. It is true that this is not one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, but it is apparently the native language of the creator of the breviary database we are using, and he wanted to include a translation in his own language. Since it is there, we offer this possibility to our users, in case someone finds it useful.
